To enjoy the novel, you do not need to be a Christian

If you are a Christian, you will find that this novel fills in some of the blank spaces in the narratives of the first century Christians. However, if you are not a Christian, you may instead enjoy the aspects of the story that are more like a traditional puzzle or thriller.

I know many men and women who are not Christians, but who live and act in the ways Christians are asked to, much more vigorously than most professing Christians do. I would like to engage with all groups of readers, and invite you to submit annotations and share your own personal views in the discussion forums.

For more about these matters, and my own beliefs and perspective, see the author's and narrator's personal statements.

Thank you for reading!
